Roy I first met you in Northland when I was nonstipendiary in Dargaviile You brought Delores Winder to us twice and then again when I was minister at Howick. Your gentle wisdom about prayer, healing and spiritual powers has impacted my life deeply. I relied on yiu at the first Alpha camps we ran at Howick and again you gave me courage to depend on Christ and explore my spiritual gifts. You will be sadly missed but your legacy continues as Presbyterians of all flavpurs learn about the Holy Spirit. Thank you.

Dear Roy, I will miss the days we would have bible study, youth group and our Sunday chats after service. Though I travelled far and would miss service for awhile, when I return on that Sunday you'll be there and we speak about what I've been up to. I'll miss talking about food because we would laugh as we both had a sweet tooth. It was a beautiful day today for your farwell, I came out with Kuki, mum and wayne were there too with aunty and uncle. I know you'll tell me not to cry and to smile because we'll see each other again. Go on Roy, rest in peace, a true mentor and friend, I will miss you, manuia lou malaga. Jamie.

GOD SERVANT Rev. Roy in all glory my family are honored and richly blessed to be in his ministry with the Mangere Presbyterian Church... REV Roy was also our son Leroys wedding celebrants in 2023. And during 1996 I gave my life to Jesus Christ with the Mangere Presbyterian Church in Rev Roy's presiding. Roy will be Sadly missed but in all praise to God for Roy and his family.
