THOMAS, Jill Susanne, 20-8-1938 – 24-11-2024, peacefully at Te Rau Kawakawa Buller Hospital.

Loved wife of the late Ernest James (Pat), loved mother and mother in law of Phillip, (Yerecoin, WA), and Rachel and Robin Hill, (Westport), a very special and much loved nana of Cameron, special other mum to Chris and Rachel Briggs, (Rolleston), daughter of the late Marjorie and, Lionel Hutchinson (Murchison), loved sister and sister in law of Patricia and Ken Farrell (dec), Peter (dec) and Rosemary Hutchinson, Robin Lewis (dec), Olwyn (Jan) (dec), and Ross Archer (dec), Carole and Bob (dec), and Sheryl Bird (dec), Colin (dec) and Biddy Thomas (dec), Ralph and Sally Davies (dec) and Lee (dec) and Noeline Thomas, a much loved aunty and friend to many.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at O’Conor Home who have cared so well for Jill over the last year and to the respectful staff at Buller Hospital who have cared for her with dignity over the last few days.

The Funeral service for Jill will be held at The FW Hagedorn Memorial Chapel, 123 Derby Westport, on Wednesday at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. Flowers respectfully declined, but donations to O'Conor Home can be made at the service.
