Whitehead, Jill (nee Shepherd) passed away on 24 November 2024 aged 82. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Don. Much loved mother of the late Todd and Nicola, loved mother-in-law of Meg and Glenn, precious and beloved Nanny of Zachary and Gemma. We take comfort in knowing Jill is now at peace and reunited with Todd. Our heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Greenwich Gardens Care Home. A service to celebrate and remember Jill’s life will be held at 2.30pm on Monday 2 December 2024 at Dil’s Funeral Home, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, followed by refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations NZ Cancer Society or NZ Heart Foundation would be appreciated.

Jill was always around our family up north as our Mums were best friends, I have many happy memories from childhood days. Special friends always leave lasting memories. To Hogie and extended family we were saddened to hear of Jill’s passing please accept our deepest sympathies. We send our love across the waves Love Vonda & John xx
Jill was our lovely, kind, neighbour for just over 2 years. She was extremely generous and her pickle making and donating was well known throughout the Village. We extend our love and condolences to all Jill´s close family and Whanau. Mauri ora.
