Psalms 34:18 Easy: When people are upset, the Lord is near to them. He saves those who feel very weak and upset. ‭‭ With the loss of our girl Mercy Tu’u Tasi, It is imminent that we will experience death in our lives, including those we cherish. There is just no way to escape the grief that naturally follows death. That despair can lead Mercy’s parents, her siblings and all of us to ask questions such as, “Why us?” and “Why now?” The struggle to answer our questions is dependent on what we are willing to surrender to God. Our grief should lead us to our belief that God can do good work in any amount of suffering. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:9–– “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Understanding that you’re not alone should help you, as you try to make sense of it all. We should recognise the need to own our weakness and resolve it, that we can only move forward in God’s strength and not our own. With any loss we have experienced, God can restore us in our grief. To her siblings in Psalm 147:3 God can bring healing to your sadness. Run this race of life, thru hardship, thru challenges, thru grief, thru sorrow Make things right with God, let Mercy be that example to strive in life, right to the end! Your dad says he heard from Mercy a month ago that Mercy made it right with God! Let that be a testimony to you her siblings You know who God is You grew up in church Like the Pst says don’t copy the way of the world Yes we are in the world but not of the world. Like your mum says she’s emotional because of the people that are here, the legacy that Mercy left. Loved how she journaled her thoughts n feelings as that can encourage others, like her partner says it resonated with him. We your family are always here , in prayers in encouragements, for you kids and your families Love you all In Jesus name

Farewell, my lil sis. Today, with shattered hearts, we gather to say goodbye to someone who was more than a friend a sister, a confidant, a faakiga ulu at times and a light in our lives. The weight of your absence is unbearable, and the pain cuts deeply, leaving a void that no words or actions can fill. You brought joy into every room, laughter into every moment, and kindness into every interaction. It is hard to imagine life without you, and the thought of moving forward feels like an uphill climb. The world feels dimmer, quieter, and less colorful without your presence. But as we grieve, we hold on to the beautiful memories you gifted us, memories that will forever remain treasures in our hearts. Though our tears flow and our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that this goodbye is not the end. God’s Word reminds us of His promises: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4). We cling to the hope that one day, we will meet again, where there is no sorrow or separation, only joy and eternal peace. Rest now, my friend, in the arms of the One who created you and loves you infinitely. Until we meet again, you will forever remain in our hearts. Misia lava oe ma ou jokes 🤣. My heart’s deepest condolences to her beautiful aiga. You raised an amazing God fearing woman. I pray that God will comfort you through this difficult season. Manuia lau malaga sis - B
