My thoughts are with Keith’s family today. Both Keith and Doreen were very dear friends on my parents for many years having first been bought together with their love of vintage cars.
Commiserations to Rowena and Michael and all their families. My first distinctive memory of Uncle Keith was him and his passion for rebuilding cars. He had built a Morris Cambridge (?) from scratch. Also, Auntie Doreen told me he ironed all his Air Force shirts because they had to be done just right! I had the privilege of wearing some of his old second-hand Warrant Officer shirts. They were really durable on the farm. One time Uncle Keith and Auntie Doreen brought the whole family to my parents' farm, at Rerewhakaaitu, in those days, for a Dodge Christmas celebration. I had to help my mother with the roast turkey. I also remember Melanie, Rowena, Michael and I playing hide and seek at one stage?! Many blessings for the funeral Rowena and Michael. To Rowena,Michael and extended family dad and I wish to express our deepest condolences and sadness at the passing of a father, grandfather and a very dear lifelong friend. We are not able to attend but please know our love and heart goes out to you all at this time Yours Jennie and George
