Ox, I’ve really struggled with what to put on here. It’s so hard to put into words just how sad we are and the big hole left in out lives how.. U taught me many things over the last 37 years. But please don’t make me go back into that scary dark shed! Lol l You knew exactly where everything was in there but I didn’t lol. You were such a hard working bloke and even when you eventually retired, you were still out on the ride on mower just about every day and working around home. I will miss your big smile, big heart, kind and cheeky huge personality. Loved our joke's and laughs together. Definitely will miss those orange high vis work tops that you could never throw away, and you wearing them on the ride on mower around home too! , they were great for being able to see you in the distance!. Time for you to let someone up there, take over those and other chores now. Mum and Bobcat 🐱 are missing wyou so much as well. Loving you is easy, we do it everyday. Missing you is a heartache that will never go away.

In Loving Memory of "Poppa Ox" A life well-lived, a legend well-loved. Poppa Ox, you were one of a kind—a simple man with a big belly, a big love for beer, fishing, and racecars, and an even bigger heart. Your unique ability to turn even the simplest moments into adventures made growing up with you so special. From rides in the logging truck to trips to the tip in "The Custard," you showed us how to find joy in the everyday. It was an honor to stand by you during your recent battles, and while it breaks my heart that I couldn’t say one final goodbye, it means so much that Dad shared that last day with you. I promise to carry on your humor, wisdom, and legacy—including your tradition of calling 90% of council workers “useless pricks”. Now, as you take your seat in the great grandstand of the sky, watching us all race through life, I hope you’re enjoying the show, my mate. Your future great-grandchildren will grow up on stories of your adventures and your big, loving heart. Rest easy, Poppa Ox. Thank you for being you. With love, Jesse, Wayne and Oscar.
