We remember with great fondness the kindness shown by Alan when we visited New Zealand. It was also lovely to be able to show him round our part of the world when he visited the UK with Gill. Our thoughts are with all the family. Love Pete and Theresa

Dearest Alan and all the family - re-membering fond times with Uncle Alan, him and Gill taking me round North Island when I was young - feeling very at home and very safe and looked after - again spending time together when we travelled round Israel/Palestine together - I remember sitting with him in seering heat, talking politics and smiling together. A lovely man, full of energy, bright and so loved by us all this side of the world.
