Kels was a man that knew that laughter was the best medicine no matter how bad times got. He put family and community above everything else. A big loss for everyone. Best wishes from the US.

A kind and caring man who inspired us every day to chase the dream. It was an honour and a privilege to have known him. Kels was effortlessly likeable. He had so much going on in his own life, but whenever he talked to us, he was 100% there - warm, supportive, and so funny. He was a great friend, a great comic, and a great man. We will miss him dearly.

Condolences to all the family, and to Kels daughter who he spoke so highly of. I only knew Kel for 4 years but he will most certainly be a friend I will remember forever. Funniest man I have ever met, loyal and always kind even in situations he could take the Mickey out of me in. Sending Aroha ❤️
