To Mike and girls, I was deeply saddened to hear of Jill's passing. I will never forget her kindness and compassion she showed to me as we sat and chatted at Brandon Shackleton's wedding. It wasn't long after I had lost my dear Elton, and it was one of the first things I had to attend on my own without him. I will always be eternally grateful. Gill was a great colleague, a very caring and thoughtful teacher to all her students (including staff members' children!) and such fun on social occasions. My daughter still uses her recipe book made during Gill's classes many years ago. She was a very gracious lady who never judged others and I'll never forget her kindness and her zest for life.

Our Gillie was a pillar of love and support who did nothing but make our lives better in every way. From picking us up from school and taking us to her house, sitting us on her bench as toddlers to cook, and listening to our endless chats. Love you always George, William and Alice

Gillie was such a wonderful grandmother. I remember when Gillie would lay out my clothes as a kid on her bed, all in order, she’d pick out a long sleeve too so I wouldn’t get cold and some shoes for me as well. I loved it and I’ll always love her. From Emily-Jane
