On Friday 13th December 2024, David peacefully passed away at Taranaki Base Hospital, aged 86 years.  Devoted husband of the late Irene, David was the dearly loved and cherished father of Sue and Brownie, Lou and Sharyn, Maree Beare, and the late David. He was an adored Grandad to Michael and Laura, Ross and Laura, Shane and Alisa, Ethan and Rabeca, Maddison and Taine; Charlotte and Jared, Mirahny, Jackson and Samantha; and a proud Great-Grandad to his ten great grandchildren and one on the way.  All visitors and messages to 18 Burns Street, Hawera.  Instead of flowers, a donation to St John’s would be appreciated, and these may be left at the service.   A live stream will be available for David's service at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz/tributes.  A celebration of David’s remarkable life will take place at the South Taranaki Returned Services Association, Princes Street, Hāwera, on Wednesday 18th December 2024, commencing at 1pm, followed by a private cremation.
