Tributes

My dear new friend. I hope you can beam down and read this. Although our friendship is of short duration we made a really cool connection. And I can see that is how you touched so many others too. And here was me thinking I’m special (haha) - I realise that was one of your special qualities - making people feel special! I treasure your book and I’m so grateful to have been at the launch. To your dearly beloved family, thanks for sharing your stories and memories of Louise. I know so much more about her, her life, her achievements, her whānau. Darn shame we learn more about people after they’ve gone beyond the horizon. Thank you for arranging a livestream which enabled me to join and view again. Louise, I kind of imagine you’re up there slipping into organisatiion roles, sorting things out beyond the veil. Go you! Lucky them. Be happy. Or should I repeat, Happy Days. It was a privilege knowing you, as little as I did.

As a child I shared many wonderful birthdays with you and your family, happy childhood memories 🙂 Then as adults we lost contact, thankfully we got to see each other again recently and it was like we had never lost touch. You are a beautiful person, and I will miss you 😞

Dearest Louise, You are an incredible woman whose warmth, kindness, and presence touched many people. You brought light to our family and to my brother’s life in ways words cannot fully express. Your love for each other is a testament to your partnership, joy, and shared dreams. Your strength and compassion were an inspiration to us all. While your loss is sudden and deeply felt, your spirit lives on through the beautiful memories and the love you gave so freely. We will miss you greatly but cherish you always. Love you so much, Ben, Mercy, Oliver & Emma.

Dearest Louise What a shock to learn.of your passing. Life is so unkind, sometimes. You were such a kind and knowledgeable person, always willing to share your knowledge. Your books are taongas, and such a wonderful legacy for us all. Sending love to your family - the world is a sadder place without you in it. Rae
