Dear Ligy, It's impossible to express the profound sadness I feel at your loss. You were a truly special soul, beautiful both inside and out. I'll always remember how your radiant smile illuminated the room, and how you exuded so much warmth and positivity, around you. I greatly admired you as an exceptional mother, an expert diabetes clinical nurse specialist, and an academically gifted scholar. I was in awe of how you, were always so driven, focussed and determined in the pursuit of excellence, with so many incredible accomplishments in your life-time. Your kindness, compassion, intelligence, and extensive knowledge were truly inspiring, making a great impact on the lives of countless people you encountered over the years. Our long conversations and shared laughter over coffee were always a highlight of my day. I feel incredibly blessed to have had such a kind, caring, and supportive friend in my life. You will forever be remembered and deeply missed. With Love - Leah

Dear Ligy Chechi, It is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to Ligy Chechi, someone who has been a source of immense love, kindness, and an inspiration. I will always remember with deep gratitude how Ligy Chechi helped me in the early days of my schooling. Her guidance, encouragement, and quiet support made a world of difference, and those memories are etched in my heart forever. To dear Uncle, Aunty, Monu Chettai, and the kids—please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you during this heartbreaking time. I pray that you find strength in the beautiful memories of Chechi and the love she gave so freely. Ligy Chechi’s kindness and love will continue to live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may God’s comfort surround you all in this time of sorrow. With love and prayers, Shibin Thekkel

Saddened to hear about you Ligy. Reminiscing good old Muscat days. How we met in the Airplane sitting next to each other not knowing we would be flatmates for a few years. Thinking of all the funny incidents- most memorable one of Pressure Cooker explosion and turmeric dhal all over the place. And how awestruck you were gazing at the Skyscrapers in Dubai So glad to have been connected with you for the last few months and to be able to see you. Rest in peace Ligy till we meet again.

Dear Ligy, The memories we created together during our college years are treasures I will hold onto forever. Whether it was late-night study sessions, endless conversations, or spontaneous adventures, you always made life brighter and more meaningful. Your kindness, loyalty, and unique spark left an imprint on everyone who knew you. Though your journey was far too short, the impact you made will never fade. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You’ll always have a special place in my heart and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you."* Alphonse

Dear Ligi, Remembering you with a lot of love, my partner in crime during those formative college days, from our first meeting as a nervous freshman to our farewell . Closing my eyes brings back all those fond memories of our 4 year long hostel life and how we used to pull up all nighters fueled with black coffee . Our trip to Lajpat Nagar market, canteen trips for snacks and of course our run on the dewy lawn early in the morning . Your infectious smile , so inspiring shines so bright in my mind. I wish we stayed in touch. So until we meet again, goodbye my dear friend. Love you Betsy

Ligy, it was a privilege to work alongside you. You were an extremely intelligent, wise, passionate and caring nurse. You talked with such love and pride about your children, who were the centre of your universe. I will always remember how your smile and laughter lit up the room. Aroha nui Coral xxx
