Tributes

My dearest friend , so many happy memories of our time together when we were both living in Tintagel . My late husband Mike and I spent many happy times with you and Chris during your time as owners of the Spa shop in the village. Many walks on the cliff tops with Storm and then Breeze along with our black Labrador Molly . When you moved to New Zealand we would have a long catch up on the phone usually on our Christmas Eve which was your Christmas Day . I loved listening to all your news , your homes , the goats and then Bruno and followed you with joy along your travels in your motor home through Facebook . When you messaged late November to tell me you were with Jo and Stu I felt so helpless and will always be so sad that we didn’t get to have the face time chat that you hoped for . Rest in peace my dearest friend once again with Chris and Jenny with Chris no doubt shouting after the dogs as they never did listen to him ! I will always miss you and will cherish your friendship and the joy you brought me during our time together . Xx

Lindsay and I first meet at Waiariki Insitute Of Technology when she enrolled as a mature student in the Hospitality Management Course. I was a food technician in the Catering Section. We got to know each other very well. I loved Lindsay’s sense of adventure and cheeky humour. She was a very special friend to me and I will miss her greatly. I am so proud to have called her my friend. Lindsay’s adventures in her mobile home started when she sold her home in Unsworth Road. To ensure she could cope with anything that she came across whilst travelling the roads, she often practiced those tight turns through Rotoma hills, when she came over to Rotorua. Her enthusiasm and love of adventure shined through, Travelled around all over the North and South Island. Taking everything in and sharing her journeys. A caring, compassionate, kind and loyal friend to me…. I treasure our times together and will remember he with love. Lindsay had a wonderful life, staying in Ohope in a place she loved… beach, sea what more could anyone want. Bruno also enjoyed that time too. Go well my friend, at peace with Chris, Storm and Breeze. I will miss you, till we meet again on the other side. 🙏🕊️🙏🕊️🙋‍♀️
