My condolences to all the family, I loved working with Max in the laboratory at the Rennet Co. Eltham in the 70’s and 80’s. He was such a great boss, full of knowledge, had a great sense of humour and loved talking about his orchids. Thinking of you all.

I want to express my deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences to Russell, Nigel and families. Max was a true gentleman, kind, caring and thoughtful. In addition he had a great sense of humour and loved a good laugh. He was interested in the world around him and he was a true scientist, always looking at things from alternative perspectives. Most of all, he loved his family immensely. Rona, Russell and Nigel were the apples of his eye. Fred and Elsa would wish to say their goodbyes if they could.
