Tributes

I had the privilege to work with Patti during her time at MPP. Patti was positive, joyful and giving person. She had an amazing work ethic and went above and beyond the call of duty in everything she did. She shared her positivity in many ways. One of them was with Patti's affirmations. This is one and I will always think of her when I read it. " Some people care too much; I think it is called Love. "- Winnie the Pooh. Thank you Patti for making the world a better and brighter place. I will miss you. Much aro'a to you all.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Patti for the past 20 years. We first crossed paths when we worked together at Amway NZ, and although we later went our separate ways professionally, our friendship remained strong. Patti was someone who truly stood out—a radiant soul, full of energy, positivity, and warmth. Her selflessness knew no bounds. She dedicated her spare time giving back, whether by volunteering at the Auckland City Mission or other charitable causes or helping out friends and family. Patti was also a woman of style and grace. She introduced me to the world of fine dining—yes, Patti had exquisite taste! From the way she dined to the way she dressed, everything about her was elevated and polished. She truly had a flair for fashion and made everything around her feel brighter. I was fortunate to spend some time with Patti recently, and we had such a memorable day together. I convinced her to sit near the back of the boat which in my experience was the best seat. Well, let’s just say we got completely drenched. At the time, it wasn’t so funny, but looking back now, it always brings a smile to my face.  Patti handled the situation with such grace and humor and that’s a memory I’ll always cherish. During our catch up we spoke about life, family, and what really stood out to me in that conversation was how deeply loved she felt by her three wonderful men —Brandon, Eugene, and Courtney. She always said that she felt like a "Queen" and anyone who saw the way they looked after her, knew how true that was. Patti was a special woman, one who touched so many lives with her kindness, her strength, and her heart. I will miss her more than words can express, but I take comfort in knowing her spirit will live on through Eugene and Courtney. Rest in peace, my dear friend until we meet again.

Dear Patti My beautiful friend, I was devastated and 💔 to hear of your passing I'm sorry we didn't get to catch up sooner. Can't believe it was way back in 2007 we met, gosh we had some fun times at Amway, didn't we. I knew from the first time I met you we would be great friends, that beautiful smile of yours, which lit up the whole room and your cheeky grin was what got me, with your flower tucked behind your ear with a sprinkle of glitter, like a beautiful Polynesian princess, with the biggest ❤️ Thankyou for all the great memories during our friendship, I will treasure them dearly. R.I.P. my friend xxxx To Brandon, Eugene, Courtney , thankyou for sharing Patti with us, I know how proud she was of you all and the ❤️ she had for all of you.Sending our love to you all, Kia kaha whanau. In rememberance of, Patti Julie Misikea, Thoreau reminds us that “it is impossible to say all that we think, even to our truest Friend”, therefore the greater part of friendship consists not in what we can say to our friend, but in being together in silence. Your kindness and unconditional caring nature symbolise the love you had for your family and friends. The honour and the privilege of being your friend is in memory of your strength, courage and selflessness, as you left too early for the silence to be replaced by our banter and laughs. Our sincere condolences to your beloved family, sons Eugene, Courtney and your partner Brandon. To your brothers Malcolm, Mason, David, your father, and in loving memory of your late mother, we share in the loss of a spirited and a gentle natured, Patti. Rest in peace. Kia monuina Tania & family❤️ Australia

Your boys are a true testament to both you and Brandon—beautiful souls who reflect the love, care, and values you both instilled in them. You are the true meaning of Mahani Niue. Your kindness has touched so many lives, leaving a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. Brandon, Eugene, and Courtney—sending all strength and love to you all. Patti, rest in peace and love.

Dearest Patti, I'll remember you for your infectious giggle, quick wit, beautiful smile and thoughtfulness, I saw you as a devoted and proud Mum, aunt, sister and partner. All of this (and more) shone through when we only recently reconnected. We shared some high school antics, night clubbing, dancing, and then came our babies. You were protective, and made to be a Mum. You were hard working, and had a genuine respect and sense of duty towards the Pasifika community, such a cool chick! Your boys are a credit to you, and Brandon. Rest easy knowing they'll thrive. With warmth and deep respect lovely lady, Nelle

At just 52, her journey with us feels far too short, Patti’s life was centered on love, family, and friendship. Her boys, Eugene and Courtney, were her pride and joy—two beautiful souls she nurtured with unwavering dedication and love. Alongside her life partner, Brandon, they built a family filled with laughter, kindness, and strength. Together, they stood as a shining example of what it means to truly support one another through life’s highs and lows. If you were lucky enough to have Patti in your life, you knew the joy she carried with her. Wherever Patti went, she brought a spark of energy that could turn even the simplest gathering into a celebration. She had an unmatched ability to lift spirits, to remind us of life’s joys, and to make sure that, no matter what, everyone around her felt valued and loved. Patti’s generosity and warmth knew no bounds. She was always there—ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or just listen. To be in her presence was to feel like you belonged. Though words cannot fill the void her passing leaves, we are grateful for the memories she has given us—the love, the laughter, and the lessons she imparted. Patti lived life fully, fiercely, and we are all better for having known her. Rest peacefully, dear Patti. You will forever be in our hearts.
