Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the family homestead on 30th December 2024. Beloved husband of the late Joy Rangiwhakire Ratahi. Treasured Dad of Barbara and the late Richard Starczewski, Linda and Mike Hagan, Sandra and John Deegan, Greg and Tina Ratahi, Stephen and Patrice Ratahi, Bryan Ratahi, Trina and Edward Coffin. Greatly Loved by all his mokos, moko mokos, and great-great-mokos. Dan will lay at Te Potaka Marae, 5340 South Road, Oaonui, from 11.00am Wednesday 1st January 2025, until his service which wi!I be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Opunake, commencing at 2.30pm on Friday 3rd January 2025.
Dan will be then laid to rest at the Orimupiko Urupa.
