Tributes

Bob was such a good friend of Yvonne (my wife) and I when he lived in Ruakaka during the 1980s and 190s. Such a kind and generous mate, who would never hesitate to help. Such true friendship is difficult to find. I'm saddened to hear the news that he has passed away.

Our dearest Uncle Bob, you left an indelible imprint on our hearts. We were so lucky to have a everloving uncle like you, always with a smile for us kids and a big hug. I remember fondly the love and laughter whenever you stopped by, will always remember your smile and that cheeky laugh. Love you forever Uncle Bob.

This is a tribute to my brother Bob on behalf of myself, my late husband Hugh and three children, Sophie, Suzanne, and Jonathan, and family. We will miss your lovely smile Bob and your kind nature.

Bob I am so glad we were able to give you a happy , safe and secure place you could call home for the last 3 years with us ,then the social activities you had at Forget-Me -Not ,ten pin bowling snooker and the day trips in the van. I know you enjoyed . And Whangarei Park Village, you were very shy initially but became more involved in the activities, where you enjoyed the atmosphere there with staff and residents

Bob brought a lot of joy to our Happy Hour with his dancing, kicking up his legs and pulling quirky faces. He seemed very popular particularly with the ladies who wanted to stop for a chat and give him a hug. He loved music and would instantly clap his hands. Bob was very gentle with the dogs who visited, and his face lit up. Bob was good at sport and was competitive in ball games and quoits.

R.I.Love Bob, we have good memories of you, Maia calling you Bobby and all my grandkids calling you Bobby, you done a lot of good for many people, wore your heart on your sleeve and a quirky sense of humour. Thank you for taking him under your wing Kerry when I came seeking help for him, many condolences to the family.
