Rest in peace Wilf. I have so many great memories growing up as your neighbour in Waimoko Glen. Always letting us kids use your cool swing. Thanks for being such a good friend to my brother Daniel too, not many people understand him but you and Enid were always so good to him and I will be forever grateful for that. I only met you both (Enid and Wilf) once when I visited NZ to stay with Roy and Mary but what a wonderful family and you both made me so welcome when i visited your home. So sad to hear of Wilf's passing and I know Enid will be devastated. Please accept my sincere condolences and I have watched the service from Legacy and I was certainly moved by it. RIP Wilf . X

It is sad news to hear about Wilf. I have great memories of him when I was part of the Waitākere Men’s Choir. He was very welcoming and helpful as he led the choir. He had a great love for music and a really good voice. He will be missed. Sending deepest condolences to the family.

I loved Wilf’s cheeky sense of humour. He was a supportive father in law to me for over 20 years and then my friend. Wilf was a kind and caring grandfather to our children and grandchildren. He used to say “nothing is too good for my grandchildren “. We all miss him deeply and he will always be in our hearts. Love Margie xxx
