Michael, Phillip, Mathew, Anna & Luke So sorry you have lost your wonderful wife and mother. I first met Sandra at Tauranga in 1984 when Kerry and I were returning from studying in Hamilton. I was an embarrassed 18 year old when Sandra started breastfeeding her newborn Phillip. Not knowing where to look, Kerry dragged me to the kitchen. My first impression of Sandra was a kind-hearted and generous person. The Haydock house would be our refuge on many trips to Auckland and Sandra always made us feel so welcome. By the time Luke came along, Sandra was a busy mum of four and could still pump out lavish meals for her guests. Kerry and I returned from Europe in 2000 and Sandra kindly took us into her home while we were homeless. She did the same in 2002 when we were doing a renovation. Always welcoming, always generous, always positive in life. RIP Sandra.
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this ceremony to celebrate the life of Sandra and to hear the wonderful stories of her love of life and her close family and friends. A beautiful person who will be sorely missed. Robyne and Bill, Adelaide, Australia.
All my love and thoughts are with you Michael, following the passing of your wonderful Sandra. A face that would light up a room, and so adoringly support you! I loved our chats leaning about how you met and your adventures together… wow what a life you have shared. My deepest condolences. Claire
You have been such a wonderful sister in law. You are always in our hearts.
