To the family of Andrew. My condolences on Andy's passing. I worked as the Admin Manager for the VCC for some 25 years, (1995-2021) and during that time, I had a lot of contact with both Andy and Mollie. I had so much respect for them both, and appreciated all the assistance and knowledge they passed on to me, during my time with the Club. When I left, Andy reminded me that I first met them, while Mollie was putting together the 50 year book, for the Clubs 50th Anniversary, with celebrations happening in 1996. It was a great time to get to understand the organisation, and meet the founders (most of them). May they both rest in love, together again. Kindest regards Julie

My Uncle Andy was a wonderful man who always took the time to share his passion for history and in particular deep understanding of Roman history. It kindled a lifelong interest of my own and we had many deep conversations about it, particularly over a diabolical chess game - which often went for hours. I’ll miss you Andy and I have so much on my life to be grateful for to you. Best speed and deep love!
