I'm so grateful to have been at Linda's beautiful send-off today. She was my cousin, but also a close friend at a time when we were both stepping into the world and discovering ourselves. Although we drifted apart, the memories remain. We had so much fun together. Linda, you had the best smile. You're forever in the photo album of my life, radiant.

From the days of our Radiography training up in Auckland through to now, whenever our paths crossed we’d stop and have a chat, see how things were going. I’ll miss the catch ups, I always appreciated it. From things that weren’t going your way to rescuing kittens and their Mama Cat. Linda, I only knew you for a few years but from our first meeting, we bonded immediately and spent many happy times together. I loved your beautiful smile and calm spiritual nature. You stayed with me while working at Te kuiti Hospital and I so enjoyed our chats and outings - we had so much in common and I found a truly beautiful friend who I am going to miss dearly. My life was enriched by having you in it. Rest in peace my lovely friend.
