He inspired us both to be involved in acting, directing and performing with Warkworth Theatre. His contribution as director and actor at Warkworth Theatre was huge and many people gained from his expertise and knowledge. He had many acting roles in TV and stage in Auckland, as well as at Warkworth. In all he was dedicated and supremely gifted. He will be sadly missed from our stage, but forever in our hearts. His strength of character, dry sense of humour and wonderful smile were enjoyed by us and we became firm friends. It was an honour to have had JB in our lives for the last 8 years. In Loving Memory of Uncle John Though we didn't spend a lot of time together, with half the world between us, we came together when it mattered most. I am deeply thankful for the chance to speak with John and share some stories one last time shortly after Christmas. That brief catch-up will always be cherished. Uncle John, your presence will be missed, but your memory will live on in our hearts. My best wishes go out to the family during this difficult time.
