Bereavement panui on behalf of the Tupara whanau regarding the loss of their beloved Dad & Koro, Sonnie Hapeta Tupara, who sadly passed away at his whare in Taupo, on Wednesday the 29th o January 2025. Matua will lay one night at his whare, whanau will then transport Matua to Otukou Marae, Turangi where he will in state until the funeral service. The whanau have advised that the service will take place on Saturday the 01st February, commencing at 11:00am followed by a graveside burial at Otukou Urupa.
