Tributes

It is with a heavy heart I heard of my dear cousin's passing. I have many fond family memories of Betty Ann, who was always generous with her time and good humor with us younger cousins. Unfortunately, time has a way of losing touch after many years of regular communication. It was very frustrating when we had a scheduled family reunion planned, as I was very much looking forward to catching up in person with Betty Ann. Covid put an end to that. Her infectious smile and deep voice live with me and all our fun and loving times together. R.I.P., beautiful lady in the hands of the Lord. Love Paul

I first met Mrs Shanahan when I worked at Wesley Hospital after I left school where she worked back in the late 80's.I also became a friend of Jo-Anne her eldest daughter where we would share memories of our time at Wesley and her Mum. Mrs Shanahan was always such a lovely lady, gracious and with a ready smile and a good sense of humour as well as her bright lipstick which i rarely saw her not wearing!. Later on I our paths crossed again at the hospital where I work as a nurse and where she spent time when unwell in her latter years. May you now rest in peace and fly with the angels. God bless and may all the happy memories bring your family comfort at this sad time.x
