On Thursday 30 January 2025 at Auckland Hospital, Peacefully, aged 94, with Shirley at his side. Beloved husband of Shirley. A loved father, step-father, grandfather, great grandfather and one great great grandchild.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care of the staff in the care centre of Summerset Heritage Park, Ellerslie. 

A celebration of John's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday 4 February 2025, at St Andrew's Anglican Church, 100 St Andrew's Road Epsom to be followed by a private Cremation. Sleep peacefully my darling. 'Where there's Love, there's quiet peace, a tranquil place where turmoils cease'
