Suddenly passed away at home on Saturday 1st February 2025, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Helen. Beloved father and father in law of Kelvin and Mel, Deanne and Jason Hurley. Treasured pop of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to farewell Monty at Tairoa Lodge, Puawai Street Hawera, on Friday 7th February 2025 commencing at 11am, after which the funeral will move to the Hawera cemetery.

It has been surreal for me in the last few weeks to lose a father and then a brother. My thoughts and heart goes out to Helen and family. Sorry that I couldn't be with you to share in our grief.
