It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Laurence at Auckland Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Louise, cherished father of Matthew and Andrew, who are supported by their partners, Samantha and Kate. Devoted Pop of Logan and much-loved brother of Kerry and Lynne, dearly loved brother-in-law of Diana, Janet, Jackie, and Kevin. Treasured uncle of Kim, Annabelle, Nick, James, Fiona, and Rosie and valued friend of many. Laurence loved his Black Labradors, Max and Otto. 

He was also passionate about the car business, where he worked alongside his brother, Kerry, to grow Davie Motors, building on the foundations laid by their father, Ron. Laurence's presence will forever be felt through the love and legacy he leaves behind. Rest in peace, Laurence, reunited with your parents, Ron and Doris. God bless you, Laurence.

A service to celebrate Laurence's life will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Friday, 14th February 2025, at 12pm.
