Tributes

Dearest Millie and Ashley, What a beautiful and moving service you provided for Wayne, thank you so much for setting it up so that we can view it here in Sydney. May Jehovah sustain you by means of his wonderful hope and our loving brotherhood, and your beautiful memories of such a solid happy man. We have fond memories of our time spent together as friends and neighbours back in the day, for the early surfs Wayne and Brett shared along with Matt and Neville, a fun trip up to Forster together and dinners before the book study at Edna’s. Wayne obviously had a huge impact on so many but we always think of you two as a couple, it will always be ‘Wayne & Millie’ and we look forward to the day when we see you two back in each others arms, and the three of you as a family. All our love and tightest of hugs Brett & Sharon

Dear Millie and Ashley, What a privilege to get the link to Wayne's service. It was so beautiful and lots of tears shed for your pain and loss. But also lots of encouragement and deep joy, seeing how your lives have unfolded since you left Sydney. And hearing about your love for each other, family, brothers and sisters and above all our Creator. Wayne was a beautiful brother, and we do remember that laugh, and how his face lit up. We can imagine him waking up, ready to work, looking for what needs to be done and who needs help. We know that Jehovah's loving arms have been wrapped around you all and will continue to, until that wonderful day when you are reunited. We loved the time we had with you here in Sydney in the 80s and often thought about you back in NZ, with love and fond memories. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days, as we look ahead to the time when there will be only tears of joy. Loads of love and hugs, Lindsay and Clara

Dear Millie & Ash, We are sorry we did not make it in person today. We so loved the link, it was a beautiful service. We will cherish our fond memories with you when we came down to visit. Your generous spirit and the fishing with Wayne. We also cherish our memories of going over on the Canberra together on all of our big OE to Australia. Fun times and things that shaped our lives. Loved the early morning surfs with Wayne at Curl Curl and Narrabeen. Our working together at Instant Scaffolds was some good memories too. Loved having Wayne on the Roofing Quickbuild team, he was the best. If anyone gave us a hard time, Wayne was my body guard ha ha. May Jehovah keep a record of your tears and hold your hand over the days, months and years to come when you feel sad. We love you guys very much. The New World is so close. - Psalm 56:8; Psalm 139:9-12; Job 33:25. LOVE from Linz & Chrissy Coles PS. Summer, Monz and Zak send their love

A smiling face, light, joy, and loving kindness. My dearest Uncle Wayne, I love you, and know you are now without pain. What a pleasure it has been to know of your love and adoration for our family. I shall see you in the rain and clear skies, in the clouds, and in leaves blowing in the wind. The world lost a special person the day you passed, but the night sky gained a star. I love you very much, and we miss you every day. Aunty Millie, I am sending you so much love. You are so strong and the love you two shared will never fade. Thank you for bringing joy and happiness to my uncle, and being such a caring, devoted and patient wife, especially in his final moments. While I am not there in person, know my heart is beside you and Didi today.

Dear Millie and Ashley So sorry to hear of Waynes passing. We met at different functions associated with Carlene and Ray I being Carlene's sister. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him because of his pleasant personality. What a wonderful future we have just ahead of us when not in the too distant future we'll be there to welcome our loved ones back to a perfect earth where sickness will be gone forever. We will be thinking of you on Saturday. Much christian love Val and Bruce 💞
