Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Karaka-Brightwell whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Wiremu Kingii Karaka-Brightwell, who sadly passed away on Thursday 20th February 2025, surrounded by his whanau. Matua is currently laying in state at the whanau whare in Avalon. A service for Wiremu will be held at Haven Falls Funeral Home, 42-50 Burden Avenue, Wainuiomata on Monday 24th February 2025, commencing at 10am, followed by a burial at Akatarawa Cemetery.
