An amazing, charismatic guy who liked getting everyone up early in the morning, his food more on the cooked side of the spectrum, but always the life of the party, a Dire Straits album always at hand, a great organiser, and an anecdote never far away. A really incredible man in so many respects and a life that was full of adventures. Air Force. Air New Zealand and then beyond. Wild travels. Wild evenings & holidays in the Coramandel and elsewhere. So many good times, stories and memories with Barrie and the Moran clan over almost 50 years!!! Barrie Moran I will miss you. I thank you for being such an important part of my life and for those around you, for all the fun times we shared, and that now you are at peace. Simon
