“Sentence structure obscures meaning”. Often cited and always think of Lynne when I use this nifty phrase. A wonderful service for a person who clearly had a huge impact and influence on many.
Such a beautiful service. I first met Lynne when I did her qualitative research methods course. Out of confusion indeed did come clarity, a phrase which I have adopted with my students when they are struggling with complex ideas. I was privileged to subsequently be mentored by Lynne for a number of years. I loved the conversations with her and always left feeling uplifted. She had by far the biggest influence on me in my academic career. A truly inspirational person. My condolences to all the family.
It was wonderful to be able to be part of Lynne’s memorial from afar. Thank you. To feel to the love and to hear of all the different parts of her rich life. We’ll miss her love, generosity, humour, intellect, boldness and care for others. Arohanui Judith
Such a lovely service. Thank you for the streaming. Lynne was an amazing person and those who spoke at the service illustrated that very nicely. I cried along with many others. I especially enjoyed seeing Fiona and her girls give their tributes. Well done!
I have fond memories of walks in the sun, on the coast or in the bush, on Christmas morning. And of big mid-winter feasts and other dinners at the big blue house. I loved your quiet sense of humour and appreciated your support. I will miss you.
A beautiful service. To see everyone dancing at the end is a most fitting tribute to Lynne who loved life as much as we loved her. My prayers and thoughts are with you Kate and family. I know Lynne lives in with you. Peace.
