Jan you were one of the kindest people I ever had the privilege to work with. Thank you for being able to sum up a situation and apply your skills accordingly. Your smile could fill a room. A pleasure to have known you. Love Eve
The day I herd that my amazing Auntie Jan passed on was the day that I knew that not just myself but all of Fielding has lost a hard working, loyal, motivated, courageous, energetic, enthusiastic, kind, strong, determined, giving, persistent beautiful woman. I don't know what all the stray animals and once a pon a time stray children are going to do. She may have been a little lady with a wonderfully big personality and a big part of Fielding Look up, that's her, the big bright star.
My second mum, say hello to my mum, your sister up there, I will rescue as many animals as I can in honour of you,
Jan, I have known you all my life along with your parents and siblings. It is so hard to believe that you are the last of the Hammond Family to go. You lived in the same house all your life. I have such fond and happy memories of our families going on picnics together (I think) to Menzies Ford. Great days indeed. The people of Feilding who you were so close to and helped in various ways, and there certainly were many, are going to miss you so much, and I too will miss visiting you when I am home from Australia. R.I.P. dear lady, dear friend. You deserve your wings.
