So sorry to hear of your passing Charles and that we were never able to get to know one another once you emigrated to New Zealand with your Mum Dad and sisters. I am heartened to hear through the tributes that you seem to have had a full varied and rewarding life surrounded by your family. I suspect we would have had much in common. Rest in peace. Love from your cousin Ken.
Was great to know you Charles. So glad we got to pray together and having your understanding of being a Christian was a comfort. Will pray 🙏 that you have found peace and GBYS. Warmest regards Wayne
Sorry to hear of your passing Charlie, My condolences to your family. I know you will be be missed as my old Cabin Mate from HMNZS Monowai there was certainly never a dull moment, your infectious manner and wicked sense of humour made sea time most enjoyable. Fair winds and a following sea ! PS. If you ever need to RAS up there tie yourself on !!!
You were always so funny. I remember riding with you in your triumph with the song heading down the highway. Rest easy say hi to mum for me. Love Jackie and family
Heartbroken to hear of your passing Charlie Boy. I will treasure the time I got to work with you at Kauri Point with Phil and Chappy. Thank you for your service, sharing your dits (Charlie Overboard), playing ulcers , being my chocolate buddy but most of all your friendship. You will be missed dearly by many. Our thoughts go out to your beautiful family, you would light up when speaking of them. While I am not able to be there with everyone to celebrate your life on Wednesday, I will be sure to take a moment during the day and eat some chocolate just for you. Rest in Love Charlie. Lots of love Ness, & Bungi
