Our beloved Papa passed away peacefully at Tōtara Hospice on 2 March 2025. Cherished husband of Matangaro; father and father- in-law of Eileen and Rob, Audrey and Benjamin, and Joanna; grandfather of Katrin and Ben, Annelise, Hamish, Kyle Mana-Metua and Skylah, Lisi-Malia, Sienna, Rose and Renay; and great grandfather to baby Arlo Jonny Poole.

He will be missed by all who knew him, especially the George, Araiti, Brown, Vaerua Metuatini, Westlake, and Pereira families of Australia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa.
