WILKINSON Kaye Lillian

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Kaye.  She passed away peacefully at Te Rangimarie Hospice on Saturday 27th September 2025, aged 67 years.

Adored and cherished wife of Craig for 44 years.  Devoted and much-loved Mum of Michael and David.  Precious, dearly loved daughter of Charlie (dec) and Val West.  Beautiful sister and sister-in-law of Dianne and Jon Douds, Bryan and Gayleen West, Erin and Dallas Chadwick.  Loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

Kaye’s kindness and christian faith touched the lives of many, may her legacy live on.

A special thank you to all the staff at the hospice for your care of Kaye.

To Craig and family, Val, Dianne, Bryan and Erin, It was with great sadness I heard of Kaye's passing. It is a bit hard to find words. The first time I met Kaye was when she stepped on the school bus to go to Stratford High School, what a moment that was, when the boys stood up to offer her a seat! Indeed her beauty shone through from a lovely heart within. Over the years we had been in contact, at church, when living behind us at Julian Place and many other times. I will see her again when we meet in eternity. A big hug to you all. Much love Louise James (nee Kuriger)

It’s with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Aunty Kaye. Her passing, though peaceful, came far too soon after her time in hospice. While we grieve, we also find comfort in knowing that she is now free from the pain and struggles she faced in the later stages of her life. Her devotion to her loved ones was unmatched. She showed up, she listened, she prayed, and she loved with her whole heart. We were blessed to be part of her world, and we will carry her memory with us always. Though we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind — one of faith, love, and unwavering kindness. Rest peacefully, Aunty Kaye. You will never be forgotten.

Darling Kaye was a most beloved cousin. She really was a true Angel in every sense of the word and so very beautiful, and she definitely found her Angels in Craig and their boys and of course, her amazing family. I will always have such special memories. Sending you our sincere love. Judy, Bill, Tony,Lance and families.
