The final whistle has blown, Rest in Peace Irene, Many tournaments up and down the country following and umpiring in the sport you loved. In North Shore Netball days then onto Netball North Harbour. Condolences Tracey and Kelvin.

Before we shifted from the Manawatu, Irene was umpiring at tournament in the Rainbow Stadium, in Palmerston North, where I was benching. I knew we were shifting to the North Shore, so I made a point of talking to her about moving to Netball North Harbour - she was my point of contact when I got here! She was instumental in my move to North Harbour Netball. A very special lady! Rest in peace, Irene.

My sincere condolences to Irene's family. Thank you for sharing her with us for so long. She did so much for our umpiring family. I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend her service - I have netball this Saturday. Rest in peace Irene.

Thankyou for all the work you did for NNH Umpires over many years. Many great memories of the wonderful times that we all shared with You. Kind regards to your family Irene. Rest in Peace.
