I have lots of cherished memories of uncle Ronnie. Most of all his smile and cheeky laugh. You will be missed, and thought of often uncle Ronnie. Thank you for the time you gave me when we last spoke and the memories from your own childhood you shared with me.

Joanne and Family

Brave until the very end. Ron was a loyal friend for over twenty years, and it has been a massive honour and privilege to know him. What great trips we had around Rangitikei and Wanganui, uncovering his family history (photo in 2013 of Ron on the old Pearson land, at Dacre Ridge, Mangawhio.) And how much he helped me on the Waimapu section, sharing his knowledge, skills and effort and time. I could not have done it without him. My deep condolences to his dear boys. I will miss him and remember him forever.
