My Dearest Pat, Oh how much I will miss you. I am sorry I could not attend your farewell today. You meant the world to me, a second Dad. You are such a great character and a wonderful man. You hired me at Caltex as your assistant many moons ago and I became known as Pat's girl at work. We had a ton of fun at work over many years, achieved greatness and I thank you for these experiences. We have been great friends for many years with the lovely Linda who I love just as much, and I am grateful to have been able to share my life with you as I have grown and had my boys. Your wonderful smile, humor, bone crunching hugs, kindness and opinions always appreciated. Rest well my dear Paddy. As you always said, "One in a Million, not won in a raffle" - Thats you. Pat was a great support to us when we owned our Caltex Service station in kaiwaka during the 80's. Thru this connection we remained good friends. Always good fun. Pat will be missed. Sorry we are unable to attend the service. Love to Linda and family.
