Sorry to hear about the passing of Aunty Dot. Always enjoyed her company & have fond memories visiting the farm at Reporoa to see Uncle Bruce & Aunty Dot. Sincere condolences to my cousins Bill,Andrea, Judy, Todd & Alix. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Aunty Woff was formidable! My mum, Sue, raised us (Deryn, Leanne and Paul) to recognize Aunty Woff as the matriarch of our family and we treated her as such, including being a tad afraid of her as children! Our visits to Reparoa were always epic ... and often came with speeding tickets. Though I have memories of mum getting off at least one of those potential tickets by pleading with the police officer that she was just so desperate to see her aunt. And being successful! As an adult, I was so grateful to have the opportunity to really get to know her and some of her stories. It really helped me to see why she was so special to my mum and made me a tad jealous of her friends and stores they must have heard from her in her heyday!
