Today, we are here not just to mourn the loss of David, but to celebrate the life of a man who was practical, hardworking, and deeply devoted to his family. From the days of our childhood, Maree, Estelle & Dave have fond memories that were enriched by the friendship of our parents Angela & Glenn shared with Pam & David. His warmth, humour, calmness and generosity will be sadly missed. We have fond memories of our family gatherings, many bbq’s, spending hours together with Jenny and Sarah practicing our dance shows for our parents at Pam & David’s family home in Torbay or at Mum & Dad’s in Milford. David had a talent for turning raw materials into something meaningful. His passion for carpentry wasn’t just about creating things. Each piece of work was a reflection of pride in what he did. We treasure our last catch up in Waihi together. It is a time that we will forever hold in our hearts. Though today is a time of sadness, we also remember the joy David brought into our lives. We are grateful for the time we had with him. David you will always be remembered, not just for what you built with your hands, but for the love and strength you gave to all of us. Rest in peace.
