Even though I knew you for only a short time I saw your true humanity and kindness. You always thought of others comfort, safety and progress. Even in pain, you tried to smile and never complained. Francois, Your beautiful family is such a huge testament to the man I and many others at hospice were privileged enough to get to know and care for over these last few months. Your attitude towards such a terrible disease was an inspiration to all of us, and your smile and sense of humour never wavered, even at the end.
