It was very sad to learn of Tony’s death he has been my mate ever since we started school together. Also being a second cousin we had a lot in common with relatives. Tony and I also played a lot of sport together. Wendy and I were in the wedding group at Olives and Tony’s wedding. Tony was a man of strong character and strong faith Wendy and I offer our condolences to all Tony’s family
It was a privilege to have known both Tony and Olive since my first visit to NZ to visit both Mon and my son Steve. We shared great times together holidaying in NZ as well as Ireland. Tony was a true family person , enjoying time with his family but especially watching and supporting his grand children play various sports. Tony will be truly missed by all, he will now be with his beloved Olive. Bob
Tony was a wonderful man! He always had such kind words to share with me and who can forget that smile. One of my favourite memories of him was when he was bingo master at his 80th birthday. I will miss him very much. Tony will be loved and remembered always ❤️
A great family man who always took the time to chat, mostly about sport. I will remember you for those chats and your larger than life smile. it's time to pass around that rugby ball with dearest Olive. xx
Sincere sympathy from us first cousins of Tony to each member of his and Olive's family. A real good bloke in every way! As a boy Tony sometimes had a holiday on our farm at Pyramid, Southland. We have kept in touch ever since. Sorry we can't attend in person but Alice & Fran will be with your Aunty Joan for the live-streaming. We give thanks for the quality of Tony's life. May the God of all consolation comfort you. R.I.P.
