Dr Peter OBE. Passed away peacefully at Auckland Hospital on Thursday 27th March 2025. Much loved husband of Sue. Loved father of Andrew, Tristan and Stefan and daughters-in-law Laura and Sophie. Treasured poppa to Thomas, Hugh, Jack, Ada and Elinor.
A service will be held at St Barnabas Anglican Church, 283 Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden, Friday 4th April at 11am. A true gentleman. So dearly loved, so sadly missed.

Very fond memories.
As a psychotherapist in Aotearoa New Zealand, I am grateful to Peter for his enormous contribution to our profession and the Association of Psychotherapists. Even when we never met, my work and the work of many generations of psychotherapists are guided by Peter's contributions to our Code of Ethics and professional standards. I am grateful to Peter, and I am also grateful to his whanau, who supported him in his mahi and made it possible for all of us to have a better, more professional psychotherapy environment. At the end of a loved ones life, it is the joy that higlights their loss. Though Peter is now in our memories, the influence of his relationships will continue to for many generations to come. From my whānau to yours, we grieve with you.
