I have many, many happy Norwood St memories. Your Mum and Dad were so good to me as a teenager living across the road. You all hold a special place in my heart. I was very sad to hear of Terry’s passing but know that he lived a full life and has made a huge impact on so many peoples’ lives. I was very moved by the funeral service and am grateful to hear those wonderful stories of Bev and Terry. May they rest in peace. I am sure that their legacy and those memories will be a great support to you all going forward. Kia Kaha. Arohanui.
Rest in forever peace Terry. I'm sorry I could not get to see you but one day we'll meet again. I'm glad Megan and I got to see you last November and when Kerry brought you to our house for a korero. Cheerful and cheeky. Moe Mai Raa. Xxx
GFA Thankyou for the time you gave me and welcoming me into your beautiful whanau, you will always hold a special place in my life and heart. My thoughts now are with your lovely family over the ocean. Love to all x Mark
My stream has unfortunately gone down. Terry, you are now flying free. Your incredible legacy and loving family will ensure your memory lives on. They will speak of you, share their cherished moments, and keep your spirit alive through your children, grandchildren, and beyond. Soar high and shine brightxx
Thank you Terry for installing a work ethic into me as a 16 year old trainee dishwasher when I worked for your family in Cromwell at the MOW camp. I have fond memories and I still talk about the hijinks and laughs that were had. RIP
I love you dad. I don't need to write any fancy words you knew my heart. I traveled through the night to get to you. I had to rest. You woke me up at the time of your passing. My immediate view was that of Mt Ruapehu. I'm so happy you have no more medications, and lonely days in a ret home. I inherited your heart. Kindest, generosity, empathy and compassion. I wanted to tell you I've been working in an orphanage in Thailand. I wanted to tell you to come with me they need you. I buy them treats. They show me love. I so happy you are set free I love you. Kiri Tauhinu Te Matahau.
