It has been a wonderful privilege to know brother Stewart. He was a man with a vision of Gods economy and a huge heart for the body of Christ. He was a tender caring shepherd without judgement and with a genuine and true love for all those whom The Lord brought to him. He was indeed a good and faithful servant. We will miss you so very much and thank the Lord that we got to spend as many years as we did enjoying your fellowship and company. May the Lord take care of your precious Christine and the family.
Dear Christine and Family... at midnight tonight in London we joined you in Hamilton, with sorrow and some joy, to listen as you remembered and honoured your beloved Husband and Dad. Your speaking was so, so precious. Thank you for the link. We too, will always remember dear Stewart singing and playing his guitar, and the many singsongs and times enjoyed together over 55 years. Our early years together in Lavery Place are strong memories, with the 'awesome foursome' Finlay kids that roamed the neighbourhood with all the others. (I'm counting JoJo there, even though she didn't yet ride a bike, or maybe she hadn't arrived yet?) But dear Sarah, Pete, Evie and JoJo - thankyou for speaking - you did great, and brought so many memories to mind. It was wonderful to see you four! Thanks to Rick and Jo also, and the grandchildren too. Christine, I dont know how you managed to speak, but thankyou, it was precious. Stewart would've been so happy with you all. Praying that your hearts will be comforted in these days as you continue on without him. Grace be with each of you, much love also - Christine & Edwin PS: When you can, come and visit us.
