Our hearts go out to all the Clarkes at this difficult time. Thanks to Bob's charming & irresistible urging Serra High School enabled a handful of Rosmini boys/water polo players to enroll as temporary students--something our sons' school had never (nor since) done before. What wonderful memories were made! Thank you for touching & enriching our lives by entrusting your precious "golden boy" to our care. Had it not been for Bob Clarke our two families would have never met. Sending our hugs, The Nortons-Angela & Ken (in San Mateo), Robert & Joanna (in Belmont), Michael (in San Carlos), Matthew & Sarah (in San Diego)
Sad times Phillipa. The size of the crowd at Bob's funeral speaks volumes of the type of man he was. Sorry we didnt get to speak to you. RIP Bob love Uncle Don & Aunty Jeanne
Such a privilege to share in this beautiful celebration of the life of this wonderful man Rest peacefully Bob .
One of the good guys. A gentleman the world could do with today. A true kiwi, could hold his head when all about him was losing theirs ….. Except when Ireland beat the all blacks in Chicago for the first time. The rematch in Chicago will be more difficult now I suspect.
Bob was a great christian, husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an example that all could follow. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
A son, a brother, a husband a father and a friend to many. A life well lived. Well done Bob.
