Sincere condolences to Murray, Jane, Doug and your respective families. I have so many fond memories of "Aunty" Laura who was my Godmother - I now realise that, that was earned for supporting my very young Mum and Dad with their firstborn while Dad was working with Mark at Purdies. Laura knitted many things from my very first socks (Taranaki rugby colours) through to knitting for my grandchildren. My memories from Woodleigh Street to Queens Road and beyond were of a very busy person, who was even tempered and caring. May you rest in peace x.
