Grandfather of Leanne and Scott Betteridge, Andrew McCracken (deceased), Denise Collinson, Andrew Lindon and Michelle Lindon (deceased), Josh and Annie Thomas, Madeline and Al Aiken, Georgia Thomas and Jai Redevski, Chris and Tracey McCracken, Aimee McCracken, Kim McCracken, Alex McCracken, Kaylee McCracken, Eliza McCracken, Ben Verdonk.
Great grandfather ofIlia Betteridge, Zeke Betteridge, Jana Betteridge, Sam Collinson, Jonah Collinson, Riley Collinson, Jack Thomas, Alfie Aiken, Louie Aiken, Theo Aiken, Nara Redevski, Dakota (Codey) Lindon, Jasper Lindon, Mitchell McCracken, Jackson McCracken, Lachlan McCracken.
His legacy lives on in his children, his marriage of 1 week short of 67 years and the many machines he saved from the landfill. The world has lost a Mr Fixit extraordinaire!

Dear Barbara, and Mc Cracken families our thoughts are with you all. The loss of such a treasured husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather will be felt forever. We watched the video of the service and we thought it was very fitting for Vern. A lovely way to celebrate his life and memories. The music, the train video all excellent choices. May he now rest.
