Passed away peacefully at Nazareth House, Christchurch on April 9, 2025 in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Leonie . Much loved father and father-in-law of Marie and Patric Coles, Richie and Jane O’Malley, Clare and Michael Wynn-Williams, Mark and Sorcha O’Malley, Ben and Malissa O’Malley, James and Rebecca O’Malley and the late Thomas. Cherished Poppa of Joe, Charlie, Georgia, Chessie, Thomas, Ciara, Dan, Dara, Bridget, Lexi, Ava and Ned.

A Requiem Mass for Pat will be held at Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Brougham Street, Christchurch on Tuesday April 15 at 3:00 pm. The following day, Wednesday April 16, a celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the Waiau Hall, North Canterbury at 1:00pm followed by the interment at the Waiau Cemetery.
