Peacefully on Tuesday, 15 April 2025, aged 96. Dearly loved husband of the late Julie. Loved father and father-in-law of Diane & Colin, Richard, and Bruce & Michelle. Loved Grandad of Kelsea, and Shanell.

A service to celebrate Fred’s life will be held at the Stratford War Memorial Centre, 55 Miranda Street, Stratford on Thursday 24 April 2025, at 11am.

Sorry to read of Fred’s passing. We shared many rides to Probus and lunches to celebrate occasions, as well as a drive out to Mangamingi dog trials last year. Thinking of you all.

Sincere sympathy to the family of Fred Cook. He raced motorcycles here in Ireland in the mid-1950s. He won the 350 c.c. race at the Leinster 200 (Wicklow circuit) on June 16, 1956. A few weeks later his brother Bob was killed in an accident while practising for a race at Aintree in England. Sincere sympathy - Harry Havelin (Dublin, Ireland)
